1) As a function to check phone number fields - called from the Accept
embed it will prompt with the changed number.
2) As a standalone utility to go through any data file and convert
existing phone numbers.
Full source code is supplied. You just slot in your own phone & fax
fields into the template and compile it as a standalone EXE. Also covers Northern
Ireland and mobile number changes. Works with string & numeric fields and all file
formats are supported. Brackets, hyphens, dashes etc. are all ignored and parsed out by
the templates.
Log File: A text file is created at the same time as the conversion and
contains a log with the Name of the customer, old phone number, new phone number and name
of phone field.
The converter allows for area code changes which can be done now and
local number changes which must not be done before 22/4/2000
Let your customers know before Christmas that you have a solution to
"Big Number" and put their minds at rest.
