Country Format Information

Argentina    Australia     Brazil    Canada     Colombia    Denmark
Finland    France     Iceland    Lithuania    Mexico     Norway   South Africa
Switzerland    United Kingdom     United States of America

For the countries shown above there is full info available.  But for any country not listed your assistance would be appreciated:  if you can  provide additional information about the phone number, postal codes, National ID Number and model addresses a web page will be added for that country. To ensure a standardized format please use one of the existing web pages (above) as a template and send as a text or .HTM file.  To assist you in preparing a submission there is a ZIP file containing PDFs which have basic postal info for each country( download the ZIP file)

From a Topspeed Newsgroup message posted by Roberto Artigas Jr:

We live in a global environment, and we are under increasing pressure to deliver globalized versions of our software. There are numerous formats for postal codes, telephones, currency, and postal addresses. Most individuals that live in a particular country know and can explain quite readily their formats. However, finding out information on other countries can be a rather tedious process.

Here is what I am proposing as a form of DATA EXCHANGE. I have posted the format information for the United States of America and explained it as best as I could. If you live in a different country post similar information and explain as best as you can. Make the title "DATA EXCHANGE: Your Country Name".

This will allow all of us to learn in a rather easy way about the formats of each country and everyone will benefit. If you need additional information about a country ask the individual that posted for his/her country.
Thanks in advance to ALL who respond.
