CapFlash - Customizable Capitalize Template - Freeware
===============================================

CapFlash is an extension template to be used on a Process - it will
convert a file of all upper case to Proper Case ("capitalize") with
the following options:

1)  Memos can be excluded
2)  Individual fields (such as State) can be excluded
3)  You can enter into the template a list of words which are always
lower case - such as del, la, de etc
4)  There is also a user-defined list of words which are always UPPER case
- such ABC, USA, AFB etc.
5)  Names beginning with Mc,Mac or O' are also catered for
6)  Compatible with CW2002 to C5.5, ABC and Legacy
7)  Legacy demo is CAPDEMO.APP and CAPDEMO.DCT and the ABC version is
CAPABC.APP/DCT

How to install:
===============

1)  Copy CAPABC.TPL (or CAPLEG.TPL for legacy users) to your template folder

2)  Create a process for your data file

3)  In the process properties for "action to take" choose PUT Record

4)  Go to Extensions and add the CapFlash template

5)  Fill in the prompts as necessary

"I have also added about a hundred common upper case abbreviations such as
sir titles, medical titles and all of the US states as would be commonly
found in an address file such as "Chesapeake, VA. 23321". I scanned about
100,000 client records to build the list".  NB for these new abbreviations
to show up you should remove the CapFlash extension template from your
conversion Process and re-add it straight away.
